ReSkilled helps people aged 25 and over who have been unemployed for over a year to move towards sustainable employment, by raising their confidence and developing their transferrable work skills.
Guildford Philanthropy provided a grant of £5,000 thanks to the generosity of our guests at the Mistletoe Ball fundraiser in December 2024.
The ReSkilled team reported: “Thanks to the money awarded, ReSkilled was able to buy a machine that we’ve wanted for a while – it has enabled us to clean up old, donated timber in record time and help participants to make progress with projects far more efficiently. We’ve trained several people to use the thicknesser and they love having it available!”
