Guildford Philanthropy launched its Corporate Ambassador initiative in 2019, to encourage local firms to come together to help their community. Through this campaign alone, circa £500k has been raised from businesses coming on board from the Guildford Borough.

A minimum of £2,500 is required but please feel free to give as much as you can!

Engaging with us enables your company to benefit from opportunities for staff engagement and business networking, whilst aligning with a broader set of local charities and voluntary organisations. In addition, available match- funding enhances the impact of your donation for the Borough and your business and boosts the impact of your own Economic Social Governance (ESG) programme.

To date over 46 firms have joined the initiative and have seen first-hand how their contributions are making a difference. Regular events are arranged including wine-tastings, Guildhall receptions and Guildford Shakespeare evenings to bring our Ambassadors together for networking. Regular newsletters also keep our Ambassadors informed of the impact their donations are making across the Borough.

All donations are currently 50% match-funded by Guildford Borough Council and your donation should be tax allowable.
