North Guildford Food Bank

We applied for funding because we are seeing more clients who are struggling to afford enough food and donations have reduced, perhaps due to donor fatigue or less publicity of the inflation in food prices or maybe our donors can no longer donate. For the first time, the Food Bank is having to approach donors and raise awareness of the increase in demand. The transition to Universal Credit is leaving some people with no money for 3 weeks: they need short term emergency help, just what the Food Bank is able to respond to.
